How does the Futura 2400 work?
First, the bleaching agent is applied to your teeth, and an LED light, laser, or halo light is then directed at your teeth. LED lights speed up the tooth-bleaching process by helping the peroxide to break down faster, forming free radicals that whiten the teeth. There are different bleaching gels used that also do not use peroxide which interests some clients if they don’t want peroxide.
Because of its 36W power supply, it is truly a powerful tooth whitening lamp. Though the blue light might be cold, the LED themselves get hot, which allows our bleaching light to raise the temperature of the gel on the teeth a few degrees to allow the bleaching reaction to take place faster while still being completely comfortable for the customer.
